Native Song Ministry
We started native song 2 and a half years ago and we are now a nonprofit and 501c3 corporation. We give all glory to god for everything we do and everything we have. we have been blessed and our ministry has grown from a small community meal to being able to provide 700 from scratch meals a month to those in need in Grundy County. We provide FREE work skills training in the culinary industry including your 3 year food safety certification in the state of Tennessee. through Partnerships and Collaborations with faith based programs like GRACE and Altamont Baptist Church we now have expanded our ministry to provide youth mentorship and tutoring for our Grundy county kids that find themselves in the criminal justice system and a local Resource center. We have a training kitchen and a Beautiful state of the art Food trailer coming very very soon to prepare folks for work in the restaurant field, and are currently working towards our transitional housing goals.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
a juvenile mentorship program for kids in the criminal justice system piggy backed with a tutoring program.
Rubber meats the road food delivery for shut ins
free ready to heat and eat meals and food boxes
free state certified food handlers training and hands on work skills training for the culinary industry
coming soon part time work leading to long term job placement in the food industry and transitional housing
